1. Introduction

Welcome to RankCups ("Service", "Platform"). RankCups is operated by Varinno Oy ("Company", "we", "our", "us").

RankCups is a social ranking and comparison platform where users can create, upload, share, discover, and participate in ranking games, polls, comparisons, community content, and media-based experiences.

By accessing or using RankCups, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use RankCups.

Certain content on the Platform may be classified as NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or adult-oriented content. Access to NSFW content is strictly limited to users who are at least 18 years old.

By accessing NSFW areas of the Platform, you confirm that:

• attempt unauthorized access to the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

4. User Content

Users may upload, submit, create, or publish:

• rankings;
• polls and comparison games;
• profile content;
• images;
• comments;
• NSFW content;
• other user-generated content.

You retain ownership of your content.

However, by uploading content to RankCups, you grant RankCups a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• host;
• display;
• reproduce;
• distribute;
• modify for formatting purposes;
• promote;
• use the content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform.

You represent and warrant that:

• you own or have the necessary rights to your content;
• your content does not violate any law;
• your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

5. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users may not upload, share, or promote content that:

• is illegal;
• infringes copyrights or trademarks;
• contains child sexual abuse material;
• promotes violence or terrorism;
• contains harassment or hate speech;
• contains malware, scams, or phishing;
• invades privacy rights;
• promotes self-harm or criminal activity.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• impersonation;
• spam;
• automated abuse;
• scraping or unauthorized data extraction;
• attempting to disrupt Platform functionality.

Violation of these rules may result in:

• content removal;
• account suspension;
• permanent bans;
• reporting to authorities where required.

6. NSFW Content Policy

RankCups may permit adult-oriented or NSFW content in designated areas.

NSFW content must:

• comply with applicable laws;
• involve only consenting adults;
• not contain minors or exploitative material;
• comply with platform moderation rules.

We reserve the right to:

• remove NSFW content;
• limit visibility;
• age-gate content;
• terminate accounts associated with policy violations.

RankCups does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or moderation speed of user-uploaded content.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the absolute right to:

• remove any content;
• restrict visibility;
• suspend users;
• permanently ban users;
• disable features;
• refuse service.

Moderation decisions may be made without prior notice.

We are not obligated to explain moderation decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All RankCups branding, software, interface elements, graphics, and proprietary functionality are owned by Varinno Oy or its licensors.

You may not:

• copy the Platform;
• reverse engineer the Platform;
• redistribute proprietary assets;
• use RankCups branding without permission.

Copyright holders may submit takedown requests regarding infringing content.

9. Third-Party Services

RankCups may integrate third-party services including:

• Google;
• Apple;
• Facebook;
• Amazon Web Services (AWS);
• analytics providers;
• CDN or hosting providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services or their policies.

Use of third-party services may also be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

• uptime;
• reliability;
• accuracy;
• uninterrupted access;
• security;
• user-generated content.

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Varinno Oy and RankCups shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages;
• data loss;
• lost profits;
• reputational harm;
• user-generated content;
• unauthorized access;
• service interruptions.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Platform within the previous 12 months.

12. Account Termination

Users may stop using the Platform at any time.

We may retain certain information where legally required or necessary for:

• security;

13. Privacy

Your use of RankCups is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland.

Any disputes shall be resolved primarily through negotiation and secondarily in Finnish courts.
